I love the sound of the waves crashing on the side of the boat. I've had the rare opportunity to sail on a tall ship. If you've never been on one or seen one in person, they are magnificent! Brooding, rustic, and absolutely gorgeous. The smell of fresh salt air and the wind in your hair inspired this painting.
